WHAT
WE DO

OUR WORK

Every child is unique. They learn at different levels and pace. The conventional classroom approach is not working for 75% of Indian Children.

At  Saarthi, we strongly believe that by the time a child turns 10 or completes grade 5, she/he must have the following 3 skills:

Excellent
Arithmetic Skills

Arithmetic is the language of Mathematics. A child can’t succeed in school unless she/he has an excellent hold on Arithmetic. We aim that the child masters 7 basic skills: Counting, Number Sense, Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division and preliminary Fractions.

Independent

Self-Learners

A child must possess the discipline to self-monitor and do self-study. We ensure children in the Saarth programme form a daily habit of practising for at least 40-60 minutes and monitor their own progress.  If children develop these three skills, their probability of success in secondary school and life goes up multiple times.

Reading Fluency and Comprehension

To succeed in almost all subjects, a child needs to be able to read and understand the content in the books. We aim that by grade 5, a child can read a 400 word story @80 words per minute with 90% correct fluency with ability to answer factual and inferential questions
